The cyclone dust collector is one of the most common dry dust removal devices in industry. It is usually combined with spray towers or bag dust collectors to form an "pre-treatment + fine purification" waste gas treatment system.

I. Main Structure

1. The equipment consists of a cylindrical body and a conical body. The entire structure is made of carbon steel and coated with anti-corrosion paint.

2. The inlet in the tangential direction, the bottom of the conical part is the ash collection pit, and it is connected to the discharger below.

II. Core Working Principle

1. The dusty gas enters the cylinder tangentially at high speed, and then it will perform a spiral rotating motion along the cylinder wall, generating a strong centrifugal force.

2. The heavier dust particles are thrown towards the cylinder wall and fall into the bottom ash pit, achieving solid-liquid separation.

3. The purified gas forms an upward spiral airflow in the center of the cylinder and is discharged through the central exhaust pipe.

III. Key Features

1. Simple structure: There are no moving parts, the failure rate is low, and the maintenance cost is extremely low.

2. Strong treatment capacity: It can handle high-concentration and large-particle dust, and is often used as the first-level pre-treatment equipment for waste gas treatment, removing most coarse particles first to reduce the load on subsequent bag dust collectors and spray towers.

3. Limitations: The removal efficiency for fine dust (especially below 10μm) is limited. It is usually not used as a terminal dust removal device alone.
